• Nishikido Ryo and Yamashita Tomohisa have been friends since Jyannis Juniors. They would talk for hours on the phone when Yamapi calls Ryo's house in Osaka.
• He is always busy, if there was one thing that he wanted to have more of, it is time so he can go to sleep and do all the things he needed to do in a day.
• Yamapi is very confident when it comes to some of his subjects in school that sometimes he only brings a pen to exams and nothing else
• He tries to take and read all of his fanmail. There is a limit to the number of mail you can take with you per week and the staff sometimes catches him smuggling more home
• Yamapi tried to learn Thai for GYM. He still keeps contact with Pichaya Nitipaisalkul (Golf) through chat or email
• He can draw a very nice "Bucktooth Doraemon". In the hotel once, they played Pictionary and he showed off that he could draw doraemon. Ryo-chan called it bucktooth
• He is very prompt and serious with his work. During rehearsals, he takes charge as a leader should and is very responsible. Yet, he listens to people's opinions. ~ Masuda Takahisa
• With money he is very frugal, in one of the concerts, the boys took off their tops and threw it to the crowd, however Yamapi didn't throw his. The reason? He said that he had on a very expensive tank top. ( Expensive? 500 yen worth.)] He did throw it in the end, but he said to the fan "Can you give it back to me?" 
• Here's Yamapi opinion denying that he's not a cheapsakte. Said that yesterday he was called a cheapskate by Akanishi Jin on national TV, and having to try to explain on the program was a little sad XD But he had to clarify that he wasn't a cheapskate, the reason was that his family was different from the Akanishi household. Pi-mama was very strict, and limited the max amount of money he was allowed to spend all the way until he graduated university. She said that a normal university student would not spend this much money, so he was not often able to treat people to meals and things. also when he went to NYC to film his PV, "Even though I had almost no time to shop, I still bought souvenirs for the staff! So I'm not a cheapskate!" And then strongly emphasized several times again that he wasn't a cheapskate. LOL
• In 2002, Yamashita and the three most popular Tokyo Juniors Toma Ikuta, Jun Hasegawa, and Shunsuke Kazama formed 4Tops who then began to host the Junior television program, The Shounen Club.
• Reason for Solo concert: The reason for his solo concert: He said that he had forgotten that sense of hunger, at the end of last year he remembered his passion and hunger for dance. When he was a junior, he would buy two bottle of juice, 220 yen, and practice dance outside the closed doors of the supermarket. To be honest, the first time having a solo concert, what kind of stage to present, what kind of reactions the fans would have, he was very worried, but still felt that first he should take the chance and try it. 
• Junior Days: He talked about the first time he stood in Yokohama arena, and he pointed to in front of C area, and said that's around where he was dancing. It was at a Kinki concert, the first time he stood on stage. Even though it was not allowed, he couldn't help it and waved to the fans. Kinki Kid's Kiss kara hajimaru mystery was the first song he learned to backdance for as a junior. And then he spoke about Takki. Pi smilingly said, Takki taught him how to wash his socks, how to dry it at the end with dry cloth to suck up the water. When he knocked over some juice on the airplane, Takki also taught him, "You dry it like this" with a cloth, and patted instead of wiped. And then he said that he would try to teach the juniors too. 
• There is a T-shirt with Yamapi's face on it, and during the encore, all the members of MAD and Mis Snow Man came out wearing it. Yamapi said that it was a bit embarrassing having T-shirts with his face on it, and then said, smiling, "Wearing this to Harajuku would totally be okay!"
• On the first day of Yamapi's solo concert, his was there, she sat in A block, and she cried during the encore.
